Faith To Action Network Interfaith Convention Participants 22 – 25 September 2025
The Faith to Action Network 4th Interfaith Convention 2025 was held from September 22–25th September 2025, at the Kyaka Hotel in Machakos, Kenya, under the theme “Faith Actors: Stewards of Change”. The dialogue featured interfaith collaboration on family health, gender justice, and peacebuilding.
For the first time, faith actors from across traditions came together to openly tackle emerging, hard conversations at the intersection of faith and society.
The Faith to Action Interfaith Convention 2025, a movement of faith voices united for change, brought together leaders, youth, women of faith, and communities into one safe space where they tackled difficult topics like gender justice, peace and inclusivity, health rights, and freedom of belief. The INERELA+ Executive Director Munya Mandipaza was in attendance.
This convention was a bold step towards:
✨ Finding common ground despite doctrinal differences.
✨ Addressing cross-cutting challenges like inequality, GBV, and shrinking civic space
✨ Equipping faith actors with skills, courage, and partnerships to be agents of transformation.
For too long, sacred texts and traditions have been misinterpreted or misused. At this convention, faith leaders uncovered life-affirming teachings, confronted injustice, and amplified solutions that honor human dignity, justice, and the integrity of creation.
The INERELA+ presentation on Restorative Masculinity & Norm Transformation showcased strategies for faith leaders to shift patriarchal norms and foster positive masculinity within religious contexts to prevent violence.
