INERELA+ Secretariat held an annual planning meeting from the 22nd – the 24th of February 2023. As part of INERELA+ strategy, the organization plans for the year with input from the secretariat staff on finance, programmes, operations, and team affairs and plans around the action points that emanates from the discussions. During the annual planning which is led was led by the Acting Executive Director (Munya Mandipanza), more emphasis was placed on the operational plan, with presentations and analysis on the budgets, Country Networks’ progress on planned programmatic activities, governance, and operations. The meeting was held in person, interactive allowing face-to-face traverse of ideas among colleagues from the secretariat. The Acting Executive Director opened the meeting by devoting the word of prayer from 1 Corinthians 12 v 5. She dedicated the year 2023 to a theme DOMINION which challenged the team to know and execute their purpose at INERELA+ not forgetting that INERELA+ work as a body to achieve the vision of the organisation. The annual planning meeting ended on the 24th with an Action Plan which spell out tasks and responsibilities to be achieved in the short to long term operational period.
